
Everyday, we wake up early in the morning. We always start preparing breakfast at least one hour before the first guests join our glass terrace (picture). We like to serve homemade and genuine food at the table, so the guest don’t have to reach for food and can relax admiring the environment around.

Our breakfast varies a lot from one day to another. Because our breakfast is homemade we do not offer buffet, but we always include our yogurt (picture), made with greek yogurt, wild berries, fruit, pollen, different kind of seeds, honey. We then offer a sweet dish and a salty dish, which differ from day to day.

SWEET PLATES

Rosanna makes a genuine cake everyday the evenening before the breakfast. She uses selected flour (in part the integral kind), kefir yogurt, eggs and olive oil. Our goal is to obtain a cake with the least amount of fat (no butter among the ingredients).

The cake could be stuffed with fruit (usually apples), carrot and almond or sometimes chocolate.
Other plates that we someday include in the breakfast are: waffles, croissants or muffins.
SALTY PLATES
Our salty dish is usually made the same morning of the breakfast. You can admire Renato making it and he will be happy to reveal you how it’s done and the ingredients.
Some examples:
- focaccia: is a flat kind of bread baked in the oven. It can be considered similar to pizza. We make it in our professional electric oven, that can reach high temperatures, ideal for focaccia. It takes only a few minutes to bake it. (IMAGE BELOW)
- avocado toast: avocado is an exotic fruit that is cultivated in the algarve region. We decided to offer this plate for breakfast because we consider it healthy, genuine and tasty. We usually add screamed eggs or tomatoes on top. (IMAGE BELOW)
- piadina: is a wrap sandwich tipically from the Italian region of Romagna. We fill it with ham, philadelphia cheese and salad, but can change upon request. (VIDEO)
